Fukaeri is a collaborative project between Portuguese singer/songwriter Bévinda and French born Vietnamese composer/singer An Tôn Thât, aka Aaken .
The whole creative process took many years. Their first song together dates from 2006, when he asked Bévinda to write lyrics to a song he had composed. That was 'o Verão', which was followed by 'Ja fui'. 'Brothers (anh/em)' was even written long before, back in 1998, when the two didn't yet know each other.
The rest of the songs were composed and recorded in Paris and Taipei.
